Partnership
for Learning's Apprentice schemes are industry developed frameworks for training young people in the workplace in areas that are current, relevant and encompass all the skills and knowledge that a young person would require within that industry.
There are different levels of Apprenticeship available and they all lead to National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs), Key Skills qualifications and where applicable aTechnical Certificate.
Apprentices are employed by an organisation and undertake both on and off-the-job training throughout their apprenticeship, including attendance at college where applicable.
Partnership for Learning offer apprenticeships in the following areas:
- Engineering
- Gas/Plumbing
- Information Technology
- Business Administration

NOTE: The 2008 Apprenticeship programme is now closed for all Engineering, Electrical, Fab Welding and Plumbing applications, however there are still vacancies for I.T, Business Admin and Customer Services apprenticeships. Please call 0151 288 2100 for an application form.
