Festive Friday

Festive Friday was an event held by all our staff here at the Partnership for Learning on the 14th December 2007. The day was organised to raise money for a local charity, Zoe’s  Place.

Zoe's Place is a Children's Hospice based in West Derby Liverpool.
We carried out a number of fund raising initiatives including......

·    Staff Cake Making Competition and Sale.
·    Tombola run with help from Sid the Robot
·    Raffle for Signed Liverpool Ball.
·    Signed Liverpool Shirt Auction.
·    Market Stalls selling all sorts!

We were also pleased to have Belle Vale Community Primary School Choir come and sing carols for us, as well as a surprise visit from Father Christmas.

There was also a guest appearance from Local Celebrity Brookside and No Angels star Sunetra Sarker and her young son. 

We are believe to have raised more than £600 pounds to date!! Overall the day was a great success! In fact the day was such a great success the local newspaper (Liverpool Echo) came along to report on the event see the story here....
