JET CENTRES (South Liverpool & Halewood)

JET Powered

Partnership for Learning (Pf L) works closely with the Jobs Education and Training (JET) Centres in Speke, Belle Vale and Halewood, particularly in creating opportunities for local people through the Pf L bursary scheme.

The JETs offer a range of services to residents and businesses in Knowsley and South Liverpool such as:

  • Job matching
  • Advice and guidance on choosing the right career
  • Help with job search, e.g. writing a CV, completing application forms or preparing for interviews
  • Information on education and training opportunities
  • Full recruitment advice and support whether for large scale recruitment or single vacancies
  • Encouraging people in employment towards lifelong learning and skills development

Funded by the UK and European governments, the JET’s service is confidential, professional and impartial.

In an area with high, but falling levels of unemployment. Pf L’s bursary training programme is supporting JET’s success in helping unemployed people back into work.

It not only equips them with the new skills that employers really want, it also contributes to local economic sustainability by helping to develop a competitive workforce.
