AUTO Electric training
                                

The Auto Electrics course is designed for delegates with a requirement for auto electrical knowledge.  It includes underpinning knowledge and diagnostic and fault finding techniques.

      • Also available at NVQ level 2 and 3.        

Multi Skilling 

    • Mechanical to Electrical

    • Electrical to Mechanical

    • Modules provide basic electrical or mechanical training for the skilled mechanical or electrical tradesperson, introduced to meet the ever increasing need for multi skilled trades people. Delegates return to work between modules to gain practical experience in a controlled environment.

    • Can provide a base for the delegate to go on and acquire a NVQ Level 2 in Engineering Maintenance

Short courses 

    • Abrasive wheels – A one day course for anybody using an abrasive wheel. It is a legal requirement for that person to be trained in accordance with the Code of Practice and in line with the Provision of Workplace Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER)

    • City & Guilds 2381 16th Edition Regulations – a course for practicing electricians with relevant experience, to give an understanding of the terminology and understanding of the 16th Edition regulations.

Welding  

A wide range of courses available from basic introductory welding including:

 o        Gas welding and cutting

o        Manual metal-arc welding

o        Metal-arc gas shielded welding

o        Tungsten arc gas shielded welding

o        Specialist welding processes and external certification and coding if required

o        ESTLL Manual Metal Arc Certificate

o        ESTLL Oxy Acetylene Welding Certificate h

o        ASME IX Pipe Welding

o        NIJC Pipe Welding (Oxy-Acetylene, Manual Metal ARC, Bronze Welding) Underpinning Knowledge required t

NVQ Level 2’s in:

o        Performing Engineering Operations.  Available to new entrants into engineering occupations requiring basic foundation training for general comprehension of engineering practices. 

o        Performing Manufacturing Operations. For operatives carrying out manufacturing activities in a controlled environment. Assists with recruitment, retention, motivation, increase productivity and has an emphasis on Health & Safety

o        Engineering Maintenance. Technical Services, Distribution and Warehousing 

NVQ Level 3’s in: 

    • Vehicle Maintenance and Repair - A course specialising in fault diagnosis and system repair on current electrical/electronic and mechanical systems. 
    • Vehicle Refinishing - A course covering all aspects of Vehicle Refinishing and associated topics necessary for the modern vehicle refinishing industry.
    • Motor Vehicle – A course providing the advanced skills for diagnosis and rectification of complex faults
